An autumn wreath

Today I enjoyed a lovely afternoon outside in my garden making this autumn wreath of hydrangea, small apples and berry's
It had been long since I did some flower work and I enjoyed myself imensely.

Autumn in the 'Mandefjild'

Today we had lovely weather and we took a walk across Mandefjild heath. There were lots of mushrooms and some trees and plants started to change colour. A great way to spend an autumn Sunday!

An unexpected visitor...

This afternoon we had an unexpected visitor in our garden. We know that she shares our garden with us, and now and then she shows herself, but always late in the evening. A few days ago I met her to my suprise at seven o'clock in the morning next to our rubbish bin, but did not have a camera of course. This time my daughter Fenna and her friend saw her first, underneath our hedge holding a young and I was able to get her on camera. I hope she and her young will be fine!

Verjaardagsfeestje met veel tassen!

Af en toe wil je met de dingen die je maakt ook wat in je omgeving doen. Zo maakte ik voor het verjaardagsfeestje van mijn dochtertje zeven echte meidentassen (natuurlijk, vooral bloemen en rose...). Het zijn koerierstassen geworden en op de flap heb ik een wit vierkant gemaakt met band eromheen dat de meiden zelf mochten versieren met allerlei leuke frutsels geleend uit het kaarten maken, zoals glitterjurkjes en tasjes en stempels van vlinders. Daarnaast konden ze erop tekenen met textielstiften. Ze zijn zo ontzettend leuk geworden dat ik je het resultaat niet wil onthouden. Hieronder zie je de dames aan het werk en een paar van de afgemaakte tassen. Voor de tractatie op school maakte ik 30 minitasjes in Cornsantstijl. Je ziet ze op de onderste foto.
